FlickrSync

Project Description
FlickrSync is a photo synchronization application for flickr users. It displays your local folders and your flickr sets and it can establish synchronization rules between them. This way you can manage all your photos locally and FlickrSync will keep them updated in flickr.

What it does

• Configure your flickr user
• Show your local folders and allow selection of folders to synchronize (double click opens the folder)
• Show your flickr sets with thumbnails (double click opens the set)
• Establish synchronization between your local folders and your flickr sets with specified rules (only for .JPG files)
• Synchronization can be done by filename or by date taken
• Synchronization includes uploading new files, replacing existing files that were changed locally (including updating of tags and description) and delete from flickr photos that no longer exist on your local folder (optional).
• Synchronization can be filtered by IPTC keywords (and you can browse your existing keywords)
• Show synchronization folders in a different color
• Define permissions for your folders/sets
• Preview synchronization before applying it on all folders or just a specific folder (use right click)
• Shows progress during synchronization
• Create new sets
• Save configuration

• Preview thumbnails of images to synchronize
• Support Private permissions
• Support other file formats (gif, tif, png)
• Allow cancel during synchronization and proceed later
• Support for multiple flickr accounts for the same windows user
• Manual selection of images
• Include sub-folders as part of a folder synchronization
• Allow multiple synchronization processes for the same folder (with different filters)
• Include network folders on the folder window
• Support flickr Collections
• Exclusion rules
• Automatic rules: when a folder is created, suggest flickr set creation
• Working under Mono

Some of this features will be released soon on version 0.8 Beta (planned for the beginning of August)
